Joel is a 12-year Canterbury resident. He is a combat veteran who served in the 3rd Infantry Division 1/15 Baker Company, with combat tours in Iraq and Pakistan. He has an associate degree in science from QVCC, a bachelor's degree in psychology from ECSU, and a master's degree in counseling/psychology from Anna Maria College. Joel went to school to work specifically with veterans and their families. He works as the Veterans Service Coordinator for QVCC, and is a life member of the DAV, Danielson Veterans Coffee House, VFW, along with the Tau Upsilon Alpha - National Honor Society for Human Services.
